Haysboro Community Association's Planning Committee, comprised of community resident volunteers, reviews and provides community feedback to The City's planning department on residential and commercial development applications in Haysboro. The committee’s focus is on ensuring that new development respects and enhances Haysboro’s unique neighborhood feel as well as revitalization set by Heritage Communities Local Area Plan.
The committee meets monthly, typically on the first Wednesday of each month, (7:00 pm in the Boardroom at the Haysboro Hall) to review any development applications. Community members and residents are welcome to attend meetings and provide input on developments, and be part of the growth and evolution of our community.
Please contact the Haysboro Planning Committee, Karen Arndt at planning@haysboro.org or more information.

H-GO stands for Housing-Grade Oriented. H-GO is a new type of housing grade where you may have heard the term around blanket rezoning. This distinction means there can be more density on a plot of land than what you would typically see on an R-CG. R-CG stands for Residential – Grade-Oriented Infill (R-CG).

H-GO CLARIFICATION - It was unclear at our engagement what exactly the front set back allowances are so I contacted one of the file managers and this was their reply : "The setback distance is measured from the property line, and not from the road or sidewalk. Minimum front setback from a front property line for both H-GO and R-CG is 3.0 metres."
Hopefully this clears up any confusion on the matter.
