Garden Committee

Are you passionate about gardening, green spaces, and making a positive impact in our community?  We have started a garden committee and are looking for volunteers to help maintain and enhance our shared green spaces.  Please email garden@haysboro.org to get involved.

Upcoming Events:

May 23rd - Community Garden Clean-up 

We’re looking for volunteers to help clean up and refresh four community gardens and get them ready to shine this summer. Any help is greatly appreciated! Simply sign up for one of the four gardens you’d like to work on

• Triangle Park - 94 Ave and Hays Drive - 9am
• Haysboro Sign Garden - On the corner of 14th Street and Heritage Drive - 10:30am
• 89 Avnue Garden - At the End of 89 Avenue before the overpass - 1pm
• Bus Stop Garden - Bus stop on the west side of Elbow Drive and 89 Avenue - 1pm

Feel free to choose more than one if you’re up for it. Please bring your gloves, any gardening tools you prefer, and perhaps a new addition (plant, rock, stump, etc.) that could help revitalize the space! (completely optional).  Email garden@haysboro.org to sign up.

June 7th - Haysboro Plant Swap & Sale from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Join us on June 7, 2026 at 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Haysboro Community Hall. Bring some of your own plants to exchange for new ones. Buy new plants for your garden! ($3 per plant-cash only) Meet Fellow gardeners and Haysboro’s Gardening Committee. Also Swapping Gardening tools & gardening books.
